Turkana Stick SB.1.92 Stick Stick. Turkana. Kenya. No 32. XIII.A.2. Original list: “Turkana. Stick. Wood. Man, elder”. Light wooden stick, patinated, carved from a tree branch, stuck in an iron pick and chiseled in several points of tiled patterns. These patterns were used to identify the animals that made up the livestock but was also a distinctive sign for older men. See Photograph in M. Amin. 1981: 100.
