Turkana necklace SB.1.82: Necklace  Ornamental necklace / apron. Turkana. Kenya. No. 20. XII.A.27. Original list: “Turkana. Necklace. Leather, beads. Woman, girl” Ornamental apron formed by two large skin bands, punctuated by large white discs made of glass beads. The strip which is worn on the front is longer than that which is placed on the back. Some discs contain a red trapezoid pattern. Necklaces of this type were worn by young Turkana girls.
