About Tribal Art Muse

Tribal Art Muse is a non-commercial website. The purpose of the site is to share ethnographic research and information of African Tribal Art.

Khan Key brings 11 years of collecting and Stephane Brosset brings more than 30 years of collecting in African Tribal Art.

In 2015 they published the first book on traditional East African headrests, Wooden Dreams – most of the headrests from this collection are now in the collection.

Tribal Art Collections

The collection consists of art from Eastern Africa, Central Africa, Western Africa and Southern Africa. The collection was done Stephane Brosset and Khan Key is the curator of Tribal Art Muse.
